The new Faros at the Saoo congress in lucern

The SAoO Congress will take place from 6^th – 8^th March 2019 in Lucerne. The Swiss Academy of Ophthalmology is a national foundation dedicated to quality assurance, research and training in the field of ophthalmology. She is both supportive and primarily initiator of projects, new ideas and strives to supplement her traditional education, teaching and research activities with new resources and impulses.

We will present our Faros with its new features like the unique SPEEP pump . The SPEEP pump is able to control the flow and the vacuum, thus offering unbeatable fluidics. In addition, the Faros includes an integrated HFDS application for glaucoma surgery. Thanks to the increased cutting force of the Continuous Flow Cutter, you can efficiently and gently remove the vitreous body what results in controlled working at the retina. On all models, most instrument ports are easily accessible at the front and making it easier for the operating room staff.
