The OS 4 surgical platform is a Vitreoretinal Cataract System (VCS) that utilises the laws of physics with the aim of making ophthalmic surgery safe, easie, and efficient.
At the heart of the platform is the innovative 3-pump system, which combines precise vacuum control, flow control, and the unique SPEEP pump—allowing simultaneous management of flow and vacuum. This system is also available as a Cataract System (CS) for cataract-focused procedures.

- Our system delivers longitudinal energy instead of torsional energy. Thanks to the strong holdability and the longitudinal movements of the easyTips, ultrasound is directed axially to the occluded fragments *.
- The infusion capacity is several times higher than the aspiration, enabling the intraocular pressure to be maintained for a stable anterior chamber 1. The system supports incision sizes ranging from 1.6 mm to 3.2 mm.

Power LED technology
The OS 4 system has a double light source with the latest Power LED technology.
Occlusion mode: Phaco power at the right time
The OS 4 offers three phaco modulations as standard. An additional Occlusion Mode can be activated for the peristaltic pump system. In Occlusion Mode, phaco power is delivered only when the preset vacuum limit is reached, which means that ultrasound is generated when needed.
Pedal with integrated laser function
The wireless and dual linear foot pedal is the multifunctional control centre of the OS 4. When using the integrated endo laser, the pedal becomes a true laser pedal.
One type of cassette for all
The OS 4 uses one cassette compatible with vitreoretinal, glaucoma, and cataract surgeries, as well as all pump systems (peristaltic, Venturi, and SPEEP).
