Advantages of CO-MICS with easyTip
Coaxial Micro Incision Cataract Surgery (CO-MICS) has gained a momentum as intraocular lenses for such small incisions have become broadly available.
Prof. Daniel Mojon relies almost exclusively on the innovative CO-MICS technology from Oertli, with incision sizes of just 1.6mm. Reducing the main incision from 2.2mm to 1.6mm halves the wound area and no longer induces astigmatism. These micro incisions allowed him to develop a new surgical method - his VIP technique.

Launch of single trocar with incision knife
We are pleased to present our latest addition to the product range, which is the single packed trocar. The trocar with its integrated lock membrane prevents the outflow of BSS, air and oil, which results in a constant IOP during the whole surgery. New Clinical Study HFDS
The Research Institute of Ophthalmology, Egypt and Kasr Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo University have published a study on the HFDS procedure. The study shows that HFDS achieves a significant intraocular pressure (IOP) reduction and it is a safe and promising minimally invasive procedure for patients with chronic open-angle glaucoma.
